Manish Joshi
Director / Founder
Practice Areas
Manish advises in all aspects of trade marks and design protection and registration, including clearance searches, oppositions, cancellations, revocations, assignments, trade mark infringement and passing off.
Manish has written and published numerous articles on Trade Marks and Designs and has also been a trainer on the Intellectual Property Diploma course run by Bristol University.
In addition Manish is the only co-editor of the two main trade mark texts covering the UK, namely the UK Trade Marks Handbook and EU Trade Marks Handbook.
Qualifications
Manish has over 30 years’ experience in IP. He has worked with a broad range of clients in varied industries, including:
Accenture, Apple Computer, Merrill Lynch, LSO, World Food Bank, Save the Children, IKEA, Michael Page, Fred Perry, Symantec, Vodafone, ABN Amro, French Connection, London Organising Committee of the 2012 Olympic Games (LOCOG).
Career
Manish started his career working for the Solicitors Office of Customs & Excise before working for a European Trade Marks firm for approximately 5 years and then joining Baker & McKenzie London office in 1997 as Head of the Trade Marks Unit, before launching his own firm.

Sarita has over 25 years’ experience in IP, with the added benefit of having worked in-house with two companies and in private practice, including an International Law firm.
Career
Sarita started her career in-house as a Patent Associate with Merck Generics, and then at Two-Way TV, before joining Baker & McKenzie London office in 2001, and expanding her experience at specialist IP firms and then joining JOSHI IP LAW in 2012.
